Jesus is the Truth

"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." — John 8:32 (KJV)
In this passage, Jesus is speaking to the Jews who believed in Him, telling them that if they continue in His word, they will truly be His disciples, and by knowing the truth (which comes from Him), they will be set free—spiritually, from sin and deception.

1. Jesus is the Truth
John 14:6 (KJV)
"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
🔹 Jesus Himself is the truth. Knowing Him leads to true freedom—freedom from sin and eternal separation from God.

2. The Truth of God’s Word Sanctifies
John 17:17 (KJV)
"Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth."
🔹 The truth of God’s Word purifies and sets believers apart for His purpose.

3. Freedom from Sin through Christ
Romans 6:22 (KJV)
"But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life."
🔹 True freedom isn’t just about knowing the truth—it’s about being freed from the power of sin and living a holy life.

4. The Truth Reveals and Exposes Lies
Ephesians 5:13 (KJV)
"But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light."
🔹 The truth brings everything to light, exposing deception and darkness.

5. Freedom from the Bondage of Lies
2 Corinthians 3:17 (KJV)
"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
🔹 The Spirit of God, which is truth, brings liberty from falsehood, fear, and oppression.

6. Holding on to the Truth Prevents Deception
2 Timothy 2:25-26 (KJV)
"In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will."
🔹 Those who reject the truth fall into the devil’s trap. But when they acknowledge the truth, they escape bondage.
